I got the axle and new spring perches dropped off to Mike today.

 

Is that an old skid plate you are using?

 

Since the signage sounds like it wasn't the best, maybe reach out to them and ask them if they'll let you bypass the fine if they'll provide the signs and posts you'll need to put them out where you got the ticket, or other places, and get some of the other guys who go to that same area to help you? Like a bit of community service.

I used to do that in the 4x4 club I was in in Seattle years ago, although it was so that we would get early access to trails that are closed in winter. We'd volunteer to go up with chainsaws and clear the trail and replace and downed signs or vandalized signs. It was always so much fun to be the first on the trails, especially since most of them still had snow on them.

Yea SOS concepts said their mid skid would fit a prerunner and it didn’t. He made me a new one for free that was an inch longer and it fit. I’m using the old one

 

Tell them my company that pays taxes in the same county/state would be happy to print the signs instead of them being outsourced to Colorado. Will install for free with @pdaddy haha

 

That's a great point. It never makes sense when states outsource stuff that can be done in their own state.

 

Yeah it’s a nice extra burn after being taxed to death from shit dating back to the 1800’s. They aren’t saving any money on top of it which is an added bummer seeing more of your tax money go to waste...definitely something you have to stay on top of in a business and hope that our government officials/employees see the importance of keeping business in the community in which they hold office/work...

@ovrlndkull Gotta problem with the 2nd gen. Check engine light is blinking and the trucking shaking when at idle and shakes under acceleration. I'm guessing plugs, coil pack or injector. It's been over 100K since I changed the plugs and the coil packs and injectors are the original ones. Any ideas? 310K miles on it. I did a little digging and it looks like some misfire codes in one or more of the cylinders.
