Interested, wheeling was pretty weak this year for me. Hoping next year will be better.
Should add Dusy-Ershim in there pending if they open it up next year

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Not even sure mine will do Fordyce... Dusy would take a lot of work.

    Sounds like some good trips.

My truck is more or less ready to go now.

However, the list is as follows-
-regear to 4.88 and install (more likely have installed) the front locker I have for it.
-Upgrade the suspension starting with custom Alcans in the rear.
-build a rear bumper to better protect the camper.
    -URD 7th injector kit
-there’s a list about 2 miles long for the camper but doesn’t effect its wheeling ability.

Edit-also planning a 2 week trip to Utah in April. Maybe Baja in November to watch the Baja 1000...but that’s a big maybe.

Never actually done it myself. Seen a few others on the forums run it with similar setups to ours. I like a challenge:D

I'm pretty much out on every weekend until snow hits. Between my brother visiting, moving, and work - I'll be slammed.

    @MattJakobs You called?

I'll get my maintenance list out of the way. None. Zero. Zilch. My rigs pretty much always ready. I break it a lot so things don't last long enough to need maintaining.

As far as CA trails go I'll give you my list of the 4 best in order of easiest to hardest.

    Rubicon
    Dusy/Ershim
    Coyote Lake
    Fordyce

There's debate among my buddies about whether Rubi is harder then Dusy. It's a 50/50 depending on who you talk to. I think Dusy is harder simply because of the length. It's also less crowded then the Rubi.

Coyote is a rad trail. Gatekeeper is no joke. There is a bypass but if you do bypasses you didn't actually do the trail, IMO. We are there to do hard stuff after all.

Fordyce is the real deal. It's the hardest, most committing trail I've done. I'm talking the full trail. Not coming in at Committee and claiming you did Fordyce. Which is good because this year you have to run the full trail. There is dam work being done at the lake so Comittee will be closed for the year.

I've done all the trails in the 2nd post and those 4 are the true gems.

How about Barrett Lake? I’ve always wanted to go there. Backpacked in when I was a kid many moons ago.

So we're going to get to wheel together in the Spring? Full trails, no half ass stuff, no bypasses, lots of beer.

I've got a lot of work to do tonight.

How late does the snow hit up there? I need to buckle some things up on the 4Runner but I can park her in the garage and start taring into it next week.
