40k for SR DCSB 4x4

At my local dealership getting my truck service done and while walking around looking at the newer vehicles they have on display. I saw this SR model with the 40k sticker price! Talk about supply and demand. Saw two other Supra/BMW (lol) with 10k market adjustment price. Ouch!

COVID19 messed up production pretty bad.

 

The market adjustment is flat out added profit for the dealer. I saved 7k when i bought a solara convertible in 08, by going to a different dealer that did not charge that fee.

 

Dealer can ask whatever they want.

 

apparently market adjustment also worked for all these quick cats that sold their tacos to carvana. cant really blame the stealer on that front lol.

 

Ordered and picked up that SR in silver a few weeks ago, 32.3K.

 

Just refuse to pay dealer markup. Find another dealer that does not charge this.

 

thats insane. Just like that sr5 I saw going for nearly 46k

 

Even before covid you add a lot of options to an sr5 plus all the dealer fees, tax and registration your up there.....maybe not 46, but your over 40k.

 

it was for sale at Flow Toyota of Statesville for nearly 3 months. Someone bought it in July. It was a DCLB with all terrain tires and predator step bars.

46k was the msrp without any dealer fees/taxes/etc..

 

thats basically my truck i got for 30k in 19'

WOW. I paid $37,500 for my 2019 TRD OR fully loaded with a bunch of dealer add-ons back in December 2018. $40,000 FOR AN SR!!! WHAT!!????? Wow... Imagine in a year there's going to be posts about SR owners complaining how they should've waited a few more months and paid less for a higher trim level

 

Does the market adjustment come with vaseline?

 

That's certainly not happening around here. I paid ~31k for a SR ACLB V6 4x4 yesterday.

 

Yeah, AC go for cheaper than DC. I've noticed people also pay more for a short bed than a long bed. Hmm. You'd think it'd be the other way around.

 

I posted one around 40k . guess that’s what that are going for wonder if the off road 4x4 is now 50k lol that’s still better than the one I posted it was a 4x2 lol
