Yup. I'd like to get them from Accutune, but I don't see them on their site. I'll have to give them a call in a bit and see if they can get them and tune them and stuff.

 

Or constant movement event like washboard, etc where the shocks are having to eat up a lot of chatter even at lower speeds.

Yeah any extended fast cycling. Which is much more of an issue for you desert rats.

Were these posted here or another thread? We had wondered how the lower tabs bolt onto the axle tube. There are pictures. It's kind of ingenious. He says one of the test rats has been wheeling without issues. I just wonder....

I’m still leery of the lower mounts rotating. I’d have to wait and see some unbiased reviews of it being put through its paces. Also someone pointed out the angle it puts the shock at. It’s.....interesting.

 

Very. I worry that downward force on that lower mount would cause it to rotate. The top mount looks like it should hold up.

Normally the shocks are angled forward 10°

 

Serate the inside of the clamps, give it that bite.

 

Hence the "intriguing"...

 

That crossed my mind as well. One way or the other, as long as Randy's wife doesn't PCS any farther away, I have him to do it right with the Archive units.

Yeah, I think I'd do Archive as well. I really do appreciate someone working on a budget option for folks though, and I met that guy once and he seems like the guy that would be able to do it. Getting some out there and having them really put through the paces will tell the story.

 

That would probably be about the timeframe when I'm ready to tackle this. Of course, I could just use that two years to become proficient with my welder.....
