Ugh

 

Swimming.

I used to do some triathlons so I had to swim a mile or so without drowning. I was ok at swimming. I decided to do an Xterra which started with about a 1/2 mile swim.

A bunch of the mountain bikers were literally swimming with their heads out of the water and hanging on to the buoys to keep from sinking. I came out of the water in probably the top 25%, thinking this Xterra stuff was a piece of cake.

Less than probably 4-5 miles into the bike leg I had been passed by pretty much everyone. I actually came to like Xterra better than the road races tho.

 

Basically within the first 2 minutes of showing up I find out I have 5 pissed off people who "need you to call them right away", double the things broken as last week, and I'm wondering why I bothered waking up at all

Yeahhhh...well, that probably won't happen seeing as how that position may be filled unless I can (and probably could) boot someone out. Then they have to find a new tech, which in the winter isn't that bad and I'd probably get a pay reduction. We'll see.

 

It’s only Tuesday. Dang.

 

And yet it has managed to completely cut off all ties to the rest of the week and go die on an island with only prune juice and a Nickelback cd for survival

 

Dude. Speaking of Nickleback. I put one of their CD’s in my wife’s car (she owned it not me) and when I got back in there like 3 weeks later it was still playing hahahaha
