Had WT in previous vehicles and my last Wrangler. Tried Husky for the Tacoma and will never go back. Their fit/coverage and material used it just much nicer. Love the Huskys. I have the X-Acts.

I have always used WT, kind of was a WT snob to be honest... but my 17 trd sport came with huskys and let’s just say I’m not a WT snob anymore.

Those pics that were posted do not do you any justice. I have a 98' Tacoma and its amazing a company would even make a size for a 22 yr old truck. I went with the Husky "Classic" vs. the "Heavy Duty" and have had no issues. I live in Colorado so it has seen quite a bit of snow. As an avid hunter, they get beat up with mud, snow, dirt, etc. and the truck is perfectly covered. I will send some photos over later but you cannot go wrong with Husky.

I was always a weathertech person but found out about the Husky and actually prefer them now. Material is different and they don't get chalky like the weathertech do after a little wear.

Made the switch to Husky x-act, the perfect combination of flexibility stiffness, and grip. Have three cars with weathertech, the rigid plastic warps at the sides by year 5, plus they are super slick when wet.

I would go with the Husky contour ones. More rubber like and more coverage than the weather tech ones I had. Weather tech had the market cornered for awhile because no one really offered specific fit mats. Now there are better options. In my opinion.

This is why I switched to Husky in my Tacoma. The tan ones in my 3gen 4Runner and the black ones in my wife's Mazda both got "chalky" after a year or two.

I had WT and was very unimpressed with their hard, slippery, ill-fitting products.

Husky Xact mats are superior in every way.

I like Husky dogs more than I like alligators. Alligators are too bitey. Huskeys are fuzzy and cute and sing when they are happy. That would push me over the edge on the decision right there. :)

Just ordered a pair of husky weatherbeaters from Amazon.. they are on sale for 63$.. damn good deal.. said only 4 left in stock before I bought mine

Ended up canceling that order.. realized the mats were for a standard (although I'm sure they'd work just fine), and I wanted the softer more pliable X-act fit - the search continues

Another vote for Husky X-Act Fits. I like the feel of the material better, it's more pliable and it grips better in wet conditions. They also seem to provide more coverage, especially on the rear floor.

The Weathertech product feels more like a hard plastic tray to me. I've had Weathertechs peel up around the edges and not sit flush. They can get slippery in wet conditions.

I wonder if weathertech has anyone monitoring sites like this. Or if they even care. They are selling based on their name recognition. That won’t last as more and more folks point out their product quality degradation.

Same. Been a Weathertech fan for a long time. Went Husky this time. Couldn't be happier. Have their mudflaps too. Good stuff.

Thanks for the review and pics! Question: where the carpet fasteners attach is there a good seal to prevent any liquid, like melted boot snow, to drain down to carpet?

Thanks for all the great feedback! Seems like the Husky are a favorite :bananadance:. I have found a Canadian supplier for the X-act :spending:.... the weatherbeater are not available to order.
