I noticed we have switched in the Northeast to winter blend on my last fill-up. I lost 3MPG with no change in driving habits. Same story every season change. Guaranteed drop in the fall, and guaranteed boost in the spring for me.

That's one thing I love about these Tacomas individual tire pressure... Honestly though I am down about 4 PSI.

It’s great.. if they all match.. which mine do thanks to my dual tire inflator. Prior to that, it was annoying af

Do you have a link to your setup somewhere handy? I've been meaning to put one together. What are you using for connecting to the valve stems? Screw on or one of the locking chucks?

Is this common on all vehicles or are tacos more sensitive to this stuff? Never noticed this before I had the taco but I lose 2-3mpgs on the winter blend too.

Exactly. It is very common, but how much of a difference Winter/Summer blends make varies a lot. There are a bunch of other factors that effect it too.

I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more TC lock.
(MPG fever... see my fuelly numbers.)

I'm all lock, all the time. I just moved slip lock into 2nd and full lock into 3rd... seems fine, so far.

With CC on, I was going to try to get the TC to unlock in 5th just before the downshift to 4th. Had a drive last night, felt like it worked; but, it didn't... I'll have to move it further away from the downshift. I think the downshift to 4th felt better (smoother) because of the throttle 'limit' and earlier downshift changes I've made; so, maybe it's not worth pursuing CC TC unlock, for me. (Attempting to avoid downshifts appears to just makes them more jarring when they do happen.)

When vF Tuner 1.2.7 releases, there will be an option for users to Key lock their tunes.
This will allow users to lock their tunes to their unique master key.
This allows you to protect your file from unauthorized modification.

Additional protections are in place during flashing to protect your work from being copied off the ECU afterwards.

This key locking menu option is optional.

we had to implement this and other security features after certain users made public that they will attempt to hack the program to gain unauthorized access to certain file contents.
