Aero Precision A2 stock with screws. $30 shipped. Brand new, just not what I expected when I ordered, it’s more of a grey than black. I don’t want to paint it, maybe someone else wants one to paint??

I concur. 300BLK subsonic is about the power factor (mass * velocity) as 45 ACP +P, but applied on a smaller diameter surface and thus can penetrate more effectively. Switch to supers, and it's just shy of AK-47 power factor. Both best pistol caliber carbines.

And, for those curious about this in more depth (I can kinda geek out on ballistics), here's a great TTAG article from just yesterday.

Some recent arrivals at my house. 2 M1 garands, a Springfield c.1943 (left), my 18 yo daughters and Winchester c.1944 (right), mine. Mine still has a korean era stock as it likely went back through the armory and was overhauled to take on tyranny once again. Complete with the era correct DOD cartouche and circle P proof mark. Near the end of korea the new barrel was swapped in, with a Jan 1953 barrel. Probably because the old one was shot out. And it must have done a little bit more shooting as the muzzle and throat readings show.

My daughters also received a new barrel in 1951, but the stock is a newer stock. My oldest daughter also received a M1 Springfield c.1942, thays is identical to my other daughters, new stock as well.

Looking forward to sighting em in.

Mine isn't korea era per say, it's a ww2 era, but it was refitted during korea sp it ended up with that era stock. We got 4 total, and my niece got a korean era m1. The rest were ww2. I bought mine, and my father in law bought one for all his granddaughters.

Trying out a Caldwell bipod mounted using a Impact Weapons Components keymod mount. Seems almost as well built as the Harris. Hopefully the weather clears up this weekend for some 3oh8 pews.

I had the Caldwell. It didn't last long. The threaded section would slip out from the flat area it tensions from under normal use.

I was gonna put it on a 365xl to replace the romeo zero however the sig is for sale.
I paid 330 with the current market as we all know got gouged before that it was about 280ish.
