    Every once in a while I get a good chuckle remembering the sales guy at the dealership trying to convince me not to get by 2015. I test drove both my truck and an auto 2016. I think he had my truck earmarked for a buddy or something because he pushed me hard on the 2016 and I had no interest in it.

    I really just would want the cab, possibly the chassis. everything else like motor, trans, interior, wiring, etc can stay. Oh and the PS bedside too I need that for my truck.

    Every time I got to my dealer here they want to buy my truck and get me in a new one. I just laugh and say you seriously won't give me what I want and seriously don't really want my truck you just want to make a sale.

    It could of been because of the kickbacks. Pre auto industry crash dealers got big money "kickbacks" for the volume of new vehicles. Post it's mostly coming from the financing but still some from the volume of the newer stuff. So that could also be a potential reason too.
