Do you archery hunt?

 

I will archery hunt when I get time to practice. My family has a few crossbows I have practiced with- and I used compound bow as a kid. I grew out of that bow and my cousin has it now.

I wouldn’t mind getting a new crossbow of my own. I have too many hobbies so no $

 

Had at least 2, maybe 3 different shooters come by today - 1 of which was the target buck. I let the first one pass because it wasn’t the big boy. The second came through a few minutes later and I could see he had a decent rack, but couldn’t tell what he was. He stopped behind a tree and offered a broadside shoulder shot, but I didn’t take it since I wasn’t sure what he was. Turns out, I should have. Then my target buck showed up a little bit later. Behind me in some thick pines. I got a good look at him but couldn’t get a clear shot. This is what I was looking through

Yea it’s a climber. I’m set up on a trail. All 3 of these came in at a different spot than my target buck did tbe first time. I tried to move this evening. Got in 2 different trees and couldn’t see shit from either. So I’m back to my original spot hoping he comes back. Still a lot of leaves on the trees here right now. A lot have fallen, but still seems like there’s more than normal. A lot of rain coming in over the next 2 days so I’m hoping he moves in the next

Got the solar panel and battery in today. Need to put something over the inside, it has a blue light

I did this for my wife’s phone, it won’t stay charged. I hooked it to a lawn mower battery.

Evening guys. pretty chatty bunch had to catch up. good luck to all this year. our muzzle starts Saturday for 2 weeks then 2weeks of rifle. I work Friday then off till December.got a few good ones moving in daylite on cams.me and my son are working on getting on one before there patterns change.he popped a nice doe last week with the bow.good luck

same for you all.I like to see the youngins get em. well they are 26-30yr old. still call em youngins.my dang nerve damage in my foot been acting up but got stands i can get to that are good.went to the foot doc. got some meds.that seem to help.there is a 4 1/2 yr 10pt been in area of my one stand. lots of acorns there too. goin to work that spot the 1st week if the wind is right.lets get er done
