Been a long time since anyone has done an update on how the DJ's are holding up...so how are they holding up? Any cons?

They are holding up stellar on mine. I don't know how many miles I've put on them since install, but zero issues, zero abnormal noises. Now my LCA uniballs... I hate these junks.

Installed the delta joints on my TC uppers. We’ll see how they do. Hopefully, last a lot longer and perform better than my standard uniballs.

Just an update: Have been running this setup close to about a year now. Zero issues or noises from it. I wish they made lower retros because for the uppers they absolutely rock.

I know they did. It was recommended by them to me that I not switch over or do any sort of general work to do a conversion over to a ball joint due to my setup.

Did truck height stay the same after install? Wondering if taper size is different on the delta joint vs T.C spacer.

Visually it appears the same. I honestly couldn't tell the difference.

Yes it does. The Delta joint does not affect lift, that part to play is for the coilovers.

When I had mid travel setup ages ago moving from Spc to Icon UCA's had a slight change in ride height reason I asked. Depending on the taper in the uca that goes into the spindle it does change height slightly, not noticeably though.

Gotcha. The taper of the Delta joint is right in line with the height of the misalignment spacers that are provided by TC and Dirt King.

There was NO way I was going to pull out the UCA. I did it all on the truck without the Icon specific tool. It was as simple as a ball joint swap out.

There is no way mine would've come out on the truck. It took all my little 6k bench top press had in it even after soaking with WD40 and torching the hell out of it to get one of them to break free.

Yikes. I took mine off the truck but to get the old ones out all it took was a vice and a big impact socket, a few wacks with a hammer and they came out no issues.

Delta joints went in smooth too.

It might have been the fact that mine were about 5 years old with 60k+ miles on them. Or the fact that they were bone dry between the uni-ball and UCA like they hadn't even considered maybe putting a drop of antiseize or some kind of dry film lube on there when they were assembled.

To be fair here, that sort of stuff requires no lube or sort of grease when initially assembling it or pressing in. That is applicable only in your dry states, like non rust belt, non coastal vehicles. In the areas I mentioned, all bets are off.
