So I went back and tightened up these loose nuts. And the top piece started spinning after it got tight enough. Does that adjust anything? I don’t want to throw anything out of whack. It was spinning the whole piece.

You need to have two wrenches, one to go on the nut, and another to go on the piece the arrow is pointing to. It has two flat faces on it for the wrench to grip and hold the threads still while the nut turns

yeah I was gripping it with some pliers because that’s all I had. But they wouldn’t hold enough. I will go back later with a wrench. Do you know if that piece adjusts or makes any changes to anything when you spin it?

Spinning it does not adjust anything, no worries

To my understanding, that is the top hat that actually holds the spring in its compressed position. Factory torque spec is 20 ft/lb according to a diagram I saw, but I'm not sure what Eibach's is. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it's super loose

What shop here in NorCal do you recommend for lifted Tacomas? I’m also looking into new aftermarket UCAs. I did the entire lift and ecgs busing install myself but don’t really feel like messing with the UCAs. How much, if you don’t mind me asking, did you pay for the SPCs and install. Thankyou in advance. :D

Did it with the wife and didn't even say fuck.

Lol. Yeah I’m sure I can do it myself. Just after doing the whole lift and ecgs, kinda over it. And I couldn’t go without cuss words lol. Especially trying to get that CV axle in and out. Talk about reaching deep into the XXX vocabulary

Honestly I think the only reason I didn't get into getting the UCAs yet was because I kept seeing how much of a PITA it was to remove that one long ass bolt. I don't think I could do it myself without cussing and throwing a wrench across the park, which I'll inevitably need to go walk over and pick back up cause I need it. I'm trying to be honest with myself here, lol.

No problem I spent about 1000 bucks. I was real specific about my numbers. I was a little bit of a pain in the ass but oh well.

I was expecting it to be awful, watched YouTube videos.
Expecting awful, I was happy to get just tricky.
I had my wife help, and she's a real Karen.
Channel locks did the sheet metal bend.
Removed all the stuff that was in the way.
The brake lines and some wires under the battery.

I've got a CV axle to do on my 2003.
    Wish me luck.

For rear shock install, does the top nut actually tighten to snug? I kept turning and turning and eventually the threads were more than an inch out of the top of the nut with no signs of the nut becoming snug.

You hold the little flat top of the main bolt with a cresent wrench while tightening the nut.
You tighten until the bushings squish out a little.

    Work in progress...
Any reason I can't use this method on the Eibach's on the middle notch, and will the top hats off the OME 887's fit the Eibach Pro's?

Well, I finally was able to get a good shot of the truck with the Eibach lift. I am still waiting on the AAL to arrive but for now, this is her stance. Once I get the AAL installed I'll post another one. Going to add an uptopoverland Bravo rack once they get back to me on how much is the shipping. I will be adding the Scorpion AT Plus tires as well once the stock tires wear down some more. I have 25k on the stock tires and they still got plenty of tread on them. Might look into selling them.
