Check out Dark Defenses for pods. They are not sae legal but I recommend them for sure. As far as the brackets, I got single pod brackets from eBay. I made the second pod bracket out of a piece of flat bar. It’s really simple, measure your hole width, round the edges, then paint flat black and call it good. The second pod bracket cost around five dollars to make with remnant section metal and half an hour or so.

I have the Dobinsons snorkel with Caliraised brackets and Caliraised sideshooter pods. They clear fine.

    Cool, thanks much!

Was the snorkel install as bad as most seem to say? ....holes not lining up, etc?

I had a Safari/ARB on my pathfinder and it was straightforward. I wish the damn head swept back.

I went into it knowing that the template was shit, so I inserted the studs into the snorkel body and used them to transfer grease dots onto the template I had taped to the truck. Worked fine.

Just make it like the hood scoop then—ornamental. Use 3M double-stick tape.

    Gotcha.
Good that worked. I was wondering if that would work because the template is made to stick to the fender and the curve of the fender.

Well the snorkel came in the mail and my dad caught wind of me trying to hack a hole in the fender soooo I will not be installing it unfortunately. His name is still on the title and I’m still financially dependent on him as a college student so he gets final say. In other news, it’s really high quality and indistinguishable from a dobinsons or arb

Your dad is a wise man. Learn from him, and just say no to a ugly ass piece of plastic sticking out of the side of your truck.
