I've been trying to buy a 2011 and the TRD S/C but my local dealership says this is not possible yet!?!? From what I've been told, the heads are different and it requires a new S/C to be produced. Can anyone confirm this?

Im the wholesale parts manager for Fred Haas Toyota Country. From what TRD said, I had the first s/c'd 2011 in Texas.

It is possible. The Tacoma still has the same V6. Its the 4Runner and maybe the FJ that got the head change. The only thing you have to do is make sure your code on your ECM matches what TRD has a reflash for.

I dont have any "beauty" shots, but Here is what I have. I will take more when I get time to detail it real good:

For those pondering superchargers, do it! It makes the truck sooo much more fun to drive. The main reason I got mine was for more passing power. This truck was every bit as fast as a 5.7 tundra before I put the lift and 35s on it. Even now, I can still pass with ease, but its not nearly as fast as with the stock wheels/tires.

The cold air intake makes the supercharger LOUD. The whine can be heard from far away. I only did it to clean up the engine bay, i thought it looked bad with the supercharger and stock intake/airbox.

I love this truck. I traded my z06 for it and have no regrets.

Very nice! Do you plan on re gearing the rear end to make up for the bigger tires?

Yeah, you probably should re gear. It will make up the power you had before the bigger tires.

No plans to regear. Its not as bad as some people say. It doesn't constantly downshift on the highway or anything and is still a bit quicker than a stock 4.0 tacoma. If I was a offroader or towed heavy loads, I might, but seriously this truck will be on paved roads 95% of the time.

Future plans: bedcover & locking tailgate, indash nav and maybe a trd catback. I need a bit of time to save up for those upgrades though.

No tacomas come with it. You have to add it after you buy it. But any dealer in any state should be able to do it.
