Haven’t been able to workout this week. The damn fires have the air quality so bad. Sinuses are acting all up and then can barely breathe in the garage

I did use tape in training.. for just five lifts my lazy ass won’t tape up.

@weldertaco tacky helps. Your gym will probably get extremely bitchy if you don’t take extra care to not get it stuck on the sink, faucet handles and everything else. I think I’ve heard of tacky spray that I would be interested to use it training but for comp nothing is better then tacky

Y’all are both solid. I gotta work on the back and biceps to hold the stone tighter on my chest.

Oh and got a promotion, boys. From welder to lead man to welding supervisor. That means I don’t ‘have’ to have my arms to make money anymore since I’m off my tools. Game on for injuries and heavy shit! Lmao

Not by choice. But I enjoy being able to breathe. I tried Monday to workout and did a light warmup then a few squats and said nope. Somethings going on whether it’s the weather or the smoke or something. I wake up every morning so badly congested I can’t breathe through my nose at all. I bought new Sudafed last night but turns out it wasn’t the 12 hour stuff dammit

When I went to Ouray in Sept I had a day in there where I felt like death. I felt like my allergies were out of control. There were air quality alerts out but when I walked outside I didn't feel like I could see or notice anything.
That pollution/smoke really has a more serious impact than you think. I was impressed by that.

When my allergies get really bad I take two Benadryl before bed and then a Xyzol in the AM and PM. You can also add in a nasal steroid to help with the inflammation.

Also drink more beer. You give less fucks when you drink more beer.

I had 3 margs and a tequila shot last night lol. Sudafed usually works if I take the 12 hour stuff but I was drunk when I bought the generic last night and didn’t read it was the 4 hour one.

LOL Pseudoephedrine gives me joint pain. So many people seem to love that stuff though.

It works wonders for me usually. Maybe I’ll try Benadryl tonight though to see if that helps any better

@LocoLocal I was just telling someone about my husband having surgery in Dec and it made me think of you.

My husband broke his hand pretty bad back in the day and had to have it surgically repaired after he just spent like $1,000 on a sleeve.

I know you mentioned that you have tats. If you have surgery, you may want to be clear up front with your surgeon you want him to do the close or if possible have a plastics doc do it. Do not let some first year resident practice their stitch technique on any body art.

My hubs is having to have some keloid scarring fixed so the issue of his sleeve getting damaged came up again.

Just make sure they know you'll sue them if they fuck up your tats. Pretty sure thats below the standard of care.
