I walked through the lot of my next door dealer last night and I only saw one new Tacoma, one new 4Runner, and no new Tundras, which has about been like that for months now. They did have three used Tacomas and a used Tundra directly in front of their building like it was new! (haha)

I'm so glad I bought mine last winter...

Back in 1994 i bought a 93 v6 sr5 auto 4x4 pickup for 9k...it was a leftover no one wanted. Had no ac. Finally sold it in 2001 after trying to unload it forever. Selling a vehicle with no ac is like selling your home without any shitters.

I paid under 30 for my sport. The prices I’ve been seeing for trucks lately are absurd.

Must come with a full tank of gas. That's why the pricing is so high.

Wow what a rip off. First mistake is buying a Tacoma in California. They are marked up huge there. We can all see why there is an exodus of people from that state......

You may be right, but buying a new vehicle out of state then bringing it in and registering it in California can be complicated at best; in short the state doesn’t make it easy to do. Last I heard a new vehicle has to have more than 5K miles on it, CA Emissions (might need a Smog inspection too) oh and you have to pay for CA tags. I’ve done it in the past with a classic car and a Motorcycle but when I was ready to buy a new Taco last spring I chose to skip all that madness and bought mine from a dealer 5 mins from my house.

I live in California (unfortunately) and bought my truck new in Grants Pass, Oregon at a dealership. All of the paperwork was completed at the dealership as far as taxes and such. I had to have a certified weight and a smog certificate to get plates from dmv. California added almost $4500 to my purchase, at least I live in extreme northern California and don't have to get smogged every 2 years.

Yeah well, connecticut is just as bad, and we don't even have any smog at least where i live, yet we have to have our vehicles emissions checked every two years. Its basically another racket.

I bought my 20 SR last week for $33, 200 in Tennessee. Better price than I was seeing in Georgia.

Both BMWsupra's final pricing was nearly 60k. I think those were just the base line type too. Not the newer GR specs.

If buying brand new from dealership. Smog does not need to be done for 6 or 8 years. I cannot remember the exact number.

That’s good to know, $4,500 is a lot though. I’m still glad I bought local although like I said I have dealt with bringing a used car into the state before and found the whole process to be a pain. The last t8me I did it I paid a Title Service to do the work for me.
