I can see resale value go up... anyone else got ideas where to get material?

 

i used a kids tobaggan if your talking about what i think you are.
if not then your probably laughing really hard.
the material is great for inner splash protection and you can kraylon them any color if you arent happy with the color you buy

Says 12”, minimum needed is 24”.

I’ll keep looking for something that can be used, can make them out of aluminum as well!

 

my local Princess Auto has rolls of rubber sheeting near the entrance that worked great for this. you could try there?

i think its 39" wide by however many feet you buy. guessing you probably need 2-3 feet.

 

Home depot has similar mats for near the entrance. They should have an all rubber one that would work.

 

I think it is 3 or 4 feet wide and is in a roll sold by the foot. I bought a piece for my wife's Jeep and some thicker stuff for a bed liner for my truck.

 

I think I ordered my roll of rubber mat from lowes for around 20$

half of my stock clips I put there fell off. Waiting to see where and what type you get so I can replace mine

I'm just using the 270-pc assortment kit: https://www.amazon.ca/Retainer-Clip-Plastic-Fastener-Remover/dp/B07CWWKR1B/ One of the serrated types in the top row of the box works well for the thicker DIY fender splash guards, as myself and @Snail81 can attest.

 

Never really made my own parts before but figured how hard could it be. Made myself a system to mount my shovel for this winter. Por15'd it so it will stay relatively rust free and flex seal'd the bottoms to give a rubberized grip against the bed so the brackets don't shift or wear on the side.

looks like the stuff i picked up for myself.

I used GM Radiator clips from Part source for mine. hold is a bit too tight for the holes, but there is no wobble or movement in the rubber material
