    I'm glad he got it with a compound, he killed his first 2 deer with me around 10 years old and he's lost several since. Happy for him :dancingbacon:

    I know that first one with a bow is exciting, doesn't matter what it is :thumbsup:

    Man I shot and shot at them with a bow before I finally connected, lost that one then finally killed one. I love it! I missed the same doe 3 times when I was about 14-15 years old.

    Crazy...these stories you tell are the same stories I have. Not sure how many I missed (several of them multiple times) before I actually got one. And I somehow managed to shoot my first one in the throato_O. It worked out though, he was dead in about 10 seconds.

    That is crazy! I missed this deer twice on two different days, killed him a week after I missed him the first time, guess where I hit him? In the throat :eek: look at the last picture close, you can see where the taxidermist sowed it up. No trouble tracking him though :D
