I love that rear bumper so much. It makes me want to redo mine so I can have boat sides similar to that.

Ran Pritchett Canyon in Moab with a couple other tacos, one with a 3 linked rear and one with a custom shackle flip. I am happy to say that the HH and shock relocate from @ARCHIVE can hang in there with the 3 link (obviously not quite as much travel) and was very comparable to the shackle flip (both of us have 14” travel shocks). It’s been about a year and a half since I put this on the truck, and I am pleased to report that I believe this is the first time I have picked up a rear tire

Should i go with 4.0 shackes? Plan on doing a rear shock relocation using kings 12in smoothies. Rocking the kings 2.5ext shocks now. I also have OME Dakers medium. I guess theres little to no lift installing HH and 4.0 shackles?

The 4.0 shackle is generally recommended for SUA setups. If you reuse your stock shackle, you won’t gain any additional lift and you’ll be very happy when the articulation.

I recommend replacing your shackle bushings with poly bushings so they can articulate easier.

What do these do over say a shackle flip with a 63" swap?

i believe it’s mentioned here and on Archive website that with Dakar packs you don’t typically want longer shackles - stick with stock length. Edit / are you asking about SF or HH

That’s a bit of an apple to oranges comparison. 63 swap will be able to flex more, but these hangers are all bolt on, increase ride quality and still give some decent flex when paired with a relocated shock.

I had considered a 63 swap but this is just such an easier route.

Please search 'chevy 63' in this thread, it was answered before

The frame is tapered, but the leaf springs are parallel so it is complicated

Hammer Hangers, 3.6 inch shackle and Crossbar ordered. I can't wait till they come in. Wheeling next year is going to be monumentally brilliant.

I have a question for the guys that already have their hammer hangers.
How long does it took to get your hammer hangers?
I know there’s a wait time and I’m not trying to complain about it, I’m just really excited to get them already :bananadance:
