Dude on my team is out all week because his brother passed away. So I get to train a temp who has zero mechanical ability.
    So basically, yes.

Nothin worse than a sucky trainee.
When the pulp mill shut down for a 2week maintenance I had this pulp mill employee that was the worst, EVER!
I always got the trainees on the overhead crane on the paper machine floor. It was a high volume job that was super intimidating...I had guys quit, pee their pants, throw up...some good ones too...yeah, good times.
Good trainees still make your job 10 times harder, sucky trainees, yeahhhhh.
    Watever.

Dude it took like weeks for them to validate me on that insider forum. Meantime I found all I needed by searching and deep research.
I still want to try the software but like I said the settings on the 100amp itself do all I really need to shake shit off the shelfs in the garage and rattle the windows in the house.
I also still need to nail down a better clean tone....

In a weird nerdy kind of way I suppose.
Cute doesn't get me the numbers I need at the end of the shift though.

In her defense though, she is a hard worker and we had like 4 of these specialty air tools break. They are also very hard to set up properly because they are ancient.

Some of our larger milling machines are from the late 60's early 70's.
Our broaches handle parts up to 20k lbs.

Yeah, but,, kind of helps the shift go by....
I always gave xtra points for cuteness vs lack of production.
Alto, this one trainee was kind of distracting on the clamp tractor... kind of remember me backing out with the boom up to third stage and taking out a rail for one of the small cranes....haha oops

We had a few that were good hard workers, were not afraid or intimidated by what we had to do.
Some parts of a paper mill are not for the meek.
Ancient equipment prone to breakdowns and being finicky is pretty much part of any heavy operation run 24/7 365.
