Well, I'm in graphic arts and have been for almost 40 years, but I'm smart enough to admit I'm not a designer. I know a few people that are so amazing at that, it's like design simply flows through their fingertips onto everything they do.
FWIW, I thought a black border would also be distracting, but I'll give it a shot.

I guess the border is not completely objectionable.

I tried changing the grey background to white and I really hated that.

I'd say that brings the state into more of a focal point of the design which is why I suggested it.

I probably would've done the same with the background. I think the light grey does a nice job of separating itself from the rest of it.

While I do like that design, I'm not really into the idea of paying the royalties that UW would demand for the use of their logo. They jump on that stuff like crazy.

I looking into licensing possibilities many years ago and found it to be far too much for my small business to pay. Now you know why a $10 t-shirt becomes $25 if it has a Bucky on it.

Not a designer myself. I'm curious how a green background would look? Instead of gray. Maybe the same green as the tree. Is that hard? I know absolutely nothing about what you do.

Ok, this looks sick. How hard would it be to add black outlines around the retro color stripes?

Also easy, but I didn't think about it until I saved it and was too lazy to go back and do it.

I, I, I, I think it's perfect @Tigerian Maybe cast a vote to see if black lines on stripes vs no black lines. I would totally pay for one of these.

Nice! Love the Ricky Bobby, err Rickenbocker! Weird pickup arrangement on the one J bass. Special edition?

I run a Mini Mark as well! Mine's the 800. With 2 homemade slot ported 1×15 Cabs (wired in parallel), it CRANKS! I love that little amp!

Sounds good, I can print outdoor vinyl with 2 mil outdoor laminate to protect it and keep the colors from fading for many many years.

Is it starting to bother anyone else that the trees aren't outlined? The more I look at it the more it starts nagging at me. :anonymous:
