I hear you. I just had both bearings and all four seals installed on mine at the dealership I work at. Just a tick over $700 for the whole thing with my discount. But, at least I got the latest OEM bearings and seals installed by guys who know what they're doing.

Are you doing a 5 minute warm up that you weren't doing when it was still summer and fall?

My warm up is usually consistent, not quite 5 minutes, probably longer in the winter, but I never just start and go.

I've had bad bearings on other vehicles and they squeal like crazy when they go. My truck is quiet right now so not sure but I'll check it out, thanks.

You really don't need the warm up time.

Start it, allow a short time for oil to circulate (30-60 seconds), put it in gear and drive off. Go easy until the engine begins to warm.
