We drove by them a few months ago on our road trip. Was surprised to see them being out in the middle of nowhere for being (well what i think is) a large online retailer.

In other news...finally went and set up and used the "range" at the new house. Been entirely to long since I've shot anything (close to a year) and boy did i miss it! The previous owner has some target stands set up at what I believe is 100 and 200 yards but I didnt bother measuring. Also tossed my 66% IPSC with hostage flapper at 150 yards (can barley see it between the two stands). The range needs some work but that will wait till spring (the bench is wobbly, target stands not in great places, ect)

But its super nice to walk the 100 feet or so from the safe to the bench to shoot

Looking for a 42" scoped rifle soft case for a Ruger No 1 - 22". Been searching, but am only finding "tacticool" cases in that length. Anyone aware of any more traditional cases in that length?

Nfa guy was on vacation when i bought this sandman S. Came back the next week to do paperwork and pay the tax stamp and the NFA guy paid my tax stamp. Talk about paying it forward. This happened last week but still awesome to me. Now I'll just forget about it till next year

yep, I don't believe Remy makes them anymore. Basically a 55gr .224 cal bullet in a sabot in the shell. I have seen them at gun shows, but not in a long time. I think they were made in .308 also.

i've seen videos of something like this, not sure if it was a 30-06 but it was something pretty big to put a 22 cal sabot in

Shot a bunch of they years ago. Basically makes your 06 the equivalent of a 220 Swift, just not nearly as accurate. Cool round for woodchucks and coyotes.

Yes years ago I shot some 30-06 accelerators at some jack rabbits. They are a saboted round. They are extremely fast and in my gun...deadly accurate. I stopped using because of cost and just bought a different rifle in another caliber.
