Looking for help. I am trying to remove the sway bar link but there is no bolt head or nut on the top end. It seems, the stud screws into the UCA and doesn't come out the other side? Every video and post shows the sway bar link with a nut that you can take off with a 17mm socket. How is it that mine is not the same? Do I try and unscrew the stud with vice grips? If so, how would put it back on if I wanted to?

Yes, it is a ProComp 6" lift. I just bought the truck so I didn't do the mods myself and I'm not real familiar with what's been done yet.

Is that not the sway bar circled in red? Why not undue the bolt?

Seems there is an Allen on the other side of the spindle where the sway bar attaches?

TW is a great resource and place to learn. It has been one of my primary nexuses to my learning. Looking back a few years ago when my truck was stock to what it is now and knowing I did it myself and/or with a friend it still amazes me. It's crazy what you can do yourself with the right resources like TW YouTube, and the Hayes manual.

Ask any racer, any real racer. It doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile. A wins a win.

Oh shit, congrats Ed. You need a build thread man. I'm sure you and Randy would enjoy that thread. I got twins, one boy and one girl, that are turning 5 in December. If this idiot can keep two alive, you two new dads can surely thrive at keeping one alive.

In general, sway bar links have either the Allen socket on the end of the stud. Or there are flats for an open end wrench on the side with the boot.

Worse come to worst; channel locks or vice grips on the boot side to grab the stud.

This indeed was the trick and I appreciate the support. Hopefully, I can get these end links out without issue. Anyone know, if I wanted to replace the end links would I order those through Pro Comp? I haven't seen any like this online.

Per the spec we posted, it says sway bar end link is OE, so no not through ProComp. Look at the instructions I linked. If procomp did not supply the sway bar links with the kit than you are just replacing the OEM part. You can go to numerous places to get it.

I will have a closer look online to see if they have the allen key. I probably just didn't notice it. Thanks for the help.
