Oh geez, that really sucks. Hopefully the dealer can figure something out or buy your truck back using the lemon law.

talking with a friend who is Lexus master mechanic and I think that if they replace the part that controls the communication between the units/systems, it will be fixed

It definitely uses more than 400W, I think around 1200. It just took four times as long to boil the water.

I'm surprised that worked. I would have expected it to burn a fuse or an internal thermal/overload protection mechanism in the inverter, instead of just throttling the device. Learn something new everyday. :notsure:

Good to hear...but now try adding a smart module to your setup. He revised his harness to get our OEM one copied in China, but on a major diet, now missing all connectivity and interfacing to a telematic, should you ever decide to add a smart module. He also doesn't future proof them by flashing the module to even "accept" a smart module. So if you think that you might one day want to add it, you may experience issues in the form that you can't...

Nice. Did you swap or paint the front bump. I have a sport (will have soon) and would like a black bumper. Lightroom is great software to know, does what three adobe programs used to do (mostly). I teach photography so use and teach it. If you ever q's let me know.

$63 plus shipping on Amazon. Fair warning: you need to do some modifications and wiring if you don’t have a 2020+. The 2020 comes prewired for them for some reason. If I had a 2019, I’d look at better aftermarket options since I’d need to wire them anyway.

Nope, I’m good. I just wanted to start my truck from inside my house and from inside Bear camp. I drive a company vehicle most of the time otherwise. Gotta say, your Thank You TW thread last night had me thinking wow, that is cool that they are actually concerned about their customers and want to continuously improve their product. Now I’m not so sure what to think. I was just trying to help the forum by providing some info about alternatives for devices that currently have plug and play functionality. Seems like you took it as an insult. I did not intend it to be. I will say this though, glad I bought what I did, because waiting till November to install one of these with no garage, would have been a pain. Good luck to you Sir.

Thanks. Reason I ask is because I bought some from YotaGarage and they didn’t snap in. They were as shocked as I was. Thinking maybe the 2020 Pro OEM grille is slightly deeper? Afraid to order more from another company and have the same issue. Either way, YotaGarage gave a complete refund and let me keep the lights.
