    That's pretty sick, (not the Alzheimer's part.. witnessed this first hand with the other set of grandparents). My genealogy is mixed, on one side, my great grandparents were off the boat German Irish and Irish German, my dad's side half was off the boat Irish, the other half adopted off the Res pre-civil war. If there is one thing I love more than history it's genealogy and hearing people who know those stories like your Grandfather.
