Haha. Well thanks to the turd gen forum I have an SR with OEM fogs, intermittent wipers, keyless entry, LED interior lights (well the 2 LED panel dome light mod is my own and will post it soon), Lomax Professional diamond plate Tonneau cover and some more good stuff. And with the 2.7L it came with an honest to God spin on oil filter, none of that plastic crap. 1500 lb load rating. Riding like a boss in my SR baby!

Well now mine is on the recall list too.

I wonder how many people have irritating driveability issues caused by this.

I often wondered but wasn't a part of it before.

    Guess we will see

It might explain that WOT TB problem?

    Maybe.

Sometimes it feels like it wants to go then backs down.

The worst is a dead feel right after shifting.

Going from second to third and expecting more go then it lulls and kicks. That's what I've been trying to kill in VF.

It's not an every day thing though. It's what keeps me trying different stuff.

It is always under higher load that it happens so it's possible

well... just checked and my vehicle Vin is in the recall for the 2019 SR... called Toyota dealer and like expected no remedy at the moment but the only good news I heard is it's not affecting all vehicles! but for safety reasons they're changing all the fuel pumps.... I'm keeping mine for the time being.... but if it happens to me, and they have to keep the truck for a while until parts come in Toyota will issue a rental car... we'll see what happens

Absolutely correct. They let them drive the vehicles with known defects even after they knew people were dieing. How in the fuck can your ignorant ass think that was a better solution?

Thank. Yeah, I was thinking asking the lines of part numbers being the same or possibly someone having knowledge of the pumps and knowing they are identical with a different screw pattern or something that makes for a new part number but still essentially the same pump. If I had a IPC I would look for myself.

I think the build sticker inside the door jamb is dated.

High load issues is one of the symptoms.

It will be crazy if that is it.

I called about a loaner as I drive 50-100 miles/day for work. I was told I would only get a loaner if mine actually failed

So are they going to come drop off a loaner for you and pick up your busted truck from the side of the road if it fails?

There’s a remedy - they just don’t want to tell us. We all have to drive at a lower rate of speed
