Hey, remember when Albon replaced him at Red Bull. Gasly is only 1 point behind him this year and he has a slower car. Good job Red Bull.

 

i agree. but he's like an 8yr old whining about that RB seat every week. i actually believe they confirmed him there early to ease the coming drama with Albon's seat.

 

Wouldn’t blame them, half the battle is keeping your drivers happy. The pressure Albon must be facing is insane.

 

Hasn't Horner already admitted that the car is massively unstable and difficult to drive? There aren't many drivers out there that would be a strong second to Max if that were true. RB need to fix their car if they want to win the constructor's title.

 

If Gasly isn't going to RB maybe they replace Albon with Hulkenberg

Anyone use the F1 TV app? I don't have cable and my free stream sites are frustratingly unreliable. Anyway I can watch the entire race from the cockpit of any driver or watch full race with commentary.Track Maps, Time interval map. It's pretty awesome. But it's $10 month but this is the only sport I watch so it's worth it to me and I can AirPlay it from my iPhone to my AppleTV.

 

In my opinion, several current drivers need to be replaced, not just Albon. A few midfield and pay drivers do not perform in relation to their teammate.

Verstappen / 2020 Leclerc / Russell / 2020 Gasly all lift their car above their teammates drastically. But I am not convinced they all the best of the best, just much better than their teammates.

The majority of the field are much closer. Without the same car or setup, its nearly impossible in my opinion to even compare racing drivers of the same era. I would like to see an open wheel version of the IROC series so we can start to settle this greatest of the era conversation.

 

i had it the first year and it just didn't work. and you couldn't watch continual onboards unless you were watching live which i never do. what all can you watch now that's not live? i just dvr everything and get the sky feed which is good but very limited.

 

I can watch any previous race and change my views per driver, turn on/off commentary and have it an multiple languages.

so you can pull up the race with those views anytime, full replays from any cockpit? that was why i subscribed and it didn't happen year 1.

 

With Honda out only 3 engine suppliers are left. Be nice if Porsche stepped up. Maybe Cosworth?

 

Yep change the views on the fly. It's very worth it so far.

 

It's worked seamlessly for me for the last 2 years... I don't use the app I just use web pages... Being able to watch all F2, F3 & Porsche cup as well as all of the pre & post race shows is awesome too

@Steven F1 TV Pro (ie watch Live) is $80 a year, non pro $27 a year. They throw coupons out regularly... typically I've paid around $50 for TV Pro for the year.
