So, I am really confused as to how to save a file as a different name? I opened one and started editing but when I save it, it does not have a save as and keeps the same name....

Thank you all for the help. Getting it slowly. I just noticed something: I am at the Acceleration - Primary Throttle Torque Target (PTTT) section and then right below it there is this:
Acceleration - Primary Throttle Torque Target 1st Gear
    3D Map

if you are going based off of one of our 2.0 Maps, make sure to ONLY edit Gear 1. The file has been patched where all gears will select from only Gear 1 map.

My question is, do I do both of these maps? If not, then why is matt saying to only do first gear?

Gear 1 is the one i edited that makes the most difference.

I changed the primary to all 0 and to all -10.75 with no ill effect.

I think the first one is more of a sensitivity thing, a gain if you will.

Although we don't really know as it hasn't been explained yet.

If you are interested i can post the values i put in recently that are really nice. It's a hybrid between the factory gear 4 and ovtune gear 1

I would also go to the manual thread for the info since you are a manual

I think I know what he meant, to not edit the other gears....
So, do you do the same edit for gear one AND target map?

You can edit the other gears, it just won't do anything.

No i don't do the same edit to the other map.

Off you read through my posts in the manual thread you will see that i have tried many different things with the primary map with inconclusive results.

I've done things to that map to try and make the truck either not accelerate or not stop accelerating and haven't been able to.

I think it is more of a sensitivity control

However, very small changes to the 1st gear map can make huge differences.

I've made it where my truck wouldn't accelerate well and I've made it where the truck was uncontrollable.

    What is your main goal?

My main goal is to start with the tweaks suggested in post one of the manual thread, but that thread is more or less dead, so I post here...

Are doing all of those in one file not recommended?

This is what I get when I try to compare files. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Updated VF... avoided the pop-up, but doesn't seem to be working. The stuff that appears in bold seems to have the same values between maps

Any chance do you have this tune for Regular fuel and would this work on 32-33 tires ? Is Gear lock triggered with ECT+S ?
    Thanks

Am I correct in assuming that since I paid for the Tune Pack for my truck (and the ability to tune it, an 04B04), that when I unlock other ECUs (which is happening as soon as the new 04C20 is supported with 2.0), I can just ping @OVTune for the 2.0 maps for other ECUs?

I don’t have a regular version. I could make one, but it takes a bit of time to get all the changes incorporated and I need to make sure I have a 2.0 regular tune to start from.

Gear lock is S+ECT. However, if you press ETC + D, the truck will up shift from 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, 4 to 5, 5 to 6 but won’t drop back down. There is no way around that with what we have available in vF currently.

I don’t have the entire 04A61 tune pack, just a few 2.0 premium files that I’ve used as the base to build from. If you have the tune pack, pm me and if you send me some regular 2.0 files in .vft format to start from I can make you a tune.
