Probably used a bad example, most here won't know what a Chevy Caprice, Impala, & Belair are or what they mean. For sure different generation & yes, to each their own. Lastly it's your truck, stand up & make your own decisions, do what "you" want & like, trying to satisfy "everyone" else will be futile.

I have debadged both of mine (2010 and 2015) and love it. Honestly not that hard just time-consuming I used 45# test braided fishing line. the worst part was getting the damn adhesive off. Goo gone, plastic paint scraper, paper towels and index and lots and lots of elbow grease.

I debadged and demolded most of my previous vehicles (Camaro, Silverado, Tacoma) and it's amazing how much dirt those badges/moldings trap. It's a lot easier to wash/wax without the badges/moldings and if you decide you want to put them back on it's not a big deal.

I took the chrome off my truck and instantly had the urge to rob a liquor store and drive with my seatbelt off!

Got some rubbing compound and took the ghosting right off.
Now she just needs to be washed and waxed.
Torn about removing the flag decals and the TRD decals as well.

Remove the badges (and decals) as I did. You get a far cleaner look. The items you might remove were not part of the original design but were likely added after the fact by marketing people and product managers. Get lots of favorable comments on the no chrome, pure white look of my stock 2015 four door long bed with the SR trim package.

best thing about debadging is it's 100 times easier to wash and polish

Helps considerably to heat them with a heat gun. Usually come right off

Dude, your truck looks sweet! Love the body/wheel color combo...so clean. FWIW, I say leave the TRD and flags, or at least leave the flags ('Murica)!

Thanks man, I love those wheels! I think I will leave the flags and TRD decals for the tile being.
