    Know issues include...

    • Gas furnace does not stay on so house has no heat (Furnace works intermittently but won’t stay lit; central A/C blows cold, but in my opinion it is overworked for a house of this size).
    • Oven will not turn on (Electrical issue with the house, not the oven itself).
    • Pretty sure there is no power to the dishwasher, either.
    • Only one of the three toilets works, and the tank has to be refilled manually.
    • Mold in unfinished basement.
    • One broken window...

    Good things about the house...
    • Newer roof.
Central A/C works (at least it was blowing cold when I was there in August; System is almost 40 years old and heater does not work so whole system will likely be replaced).
    • More than 90% of light fixtures work.
    • Water heater is good
    • Plumbing is good (Pipes, not fixtures; Two toilets not functioning)
    • No structural issues!

Yea the outside needs to be power washed and maybe painted but looks good. If the roof is good to then it’s even better.
There’s an abandoned house on lower state rd across from the service station that I wish would have been redone. Sadly it’s beyond repair.

House was built in 1968, and friend's parents paid $48K for it in 1972; Mortgage was fully paid off by 1986!

That’s like my aunt and uncle. They bought their house in Hawaii in 1978 for 139k and now it’s worth over 2mil. Their mortgage was paid off by 1990

I'm sad to see that York Borg-Warner air-conditioner go; The house always had gas forced air heat but no central air, and the original furnace was a lemon...

Friend's parents had central air installed when they replaced the original furnace; The furnace hasn't functioned properly in at least five years and works intermittently at best. Because the system uses R-22 Freon and is almost 40 years old, and the furnace doesn't work, the whole system will likely be replaced. You're never gonna see a central air-conditioner with the durability of a York Champion, and you'll certainly never see an air-conditioner built today that lasts four decades!

You think it’s worth it to start using these additives? My coworker swears by this stuff...

I am not a fan of oil additives like that either, that BG Company does make a decent fuel system cleaner though.

Won't pass inspection? Maybe you should swap the transmission from the red one to the white one and just part the red one out...?

Sounds like a plan my friend, my Tacoma takes 0W-20. There are some new oils coming out that are crazy thin, like 0W-16 and l even think 0W-08.
