Duuuude I sympathize. I'm by myself the last half hour and that's when everyone starts waking up, coming through the drive thru, calling in refills, same day clinic starts firing scripts at me... Suckssssss

so far a crazy night around here.. how about you?

 

Just a typical ER night. I'm just ready to go home Got 7 nights more after this My raise will be on the next check though......so there's that

 

6.5 for me. Already been at work though for 4 hours.

I work 2 afternoon shifts and 2 graveyard shifts, and then its a 3 day weekend for me.

 

I work 8 on 7p-7a, then off for 6.

 

thats a pretty sweet schedule. I used to do 12s, for about 8 years. Then got laid off.

I accepted a new job back in July, but I guess covid is slowing things down. It will be Tues-Sat 9pm-5am. I havent started it still! I am grateful to have a job though. I will continue to wait

 

Our ER slowed down some at the start, but they never made any of us go home. Luckily, there was always someone willing to take the night off though. Our hospital kinda has a monopoly on the surrounding area(and we actually make money out of our ER). The next closest ones are close to an hour away. Our uppers did a good job of taking care of us during the whole shit show.

Glad to hear that. I work in IT. I dislike working from home, so I am the guy that goes into the office. There are a couple other people that I see regularly, but its basically a skeleton crew that comes in. For the most part, the work is constant. I think in winter, things slow down a bit.
