Phil we may skate by this Zeta with just a little rain. Majority of it looks to be passing to the west of us. Looks like you may get some at the hosp though. Noticed there a nice breeze out tonight too. Be perfect for laying in a hammock.

We're apparently under a tornado watch. Security called a few minutes ago. I'm hoping it doesn't send people in just to be "safe"

Nothing like that night shift!!! This is night 7 of 9, 1800-0600. Between doing my rounds and looking at crap, I just chill and do my best Homer Simpson impression. Don't worry, not running a nuclear facility, just a bunch of oil field leases and the plants and stuff.

Our fulltime is considered 3 12hrs per week. I work 4 per week(Wed-Sat, Sun-Wed). It gives me 16hrs of OT each paycheck.

I got a good bit done. I had to have the spring perches rewelded on the axle. I told him they were 41.5" apart....they are 42.5"

That sounds like our main control room. We run pretty lean, at night. It's just 2 of us out here. One guy gets to stay at the main plant and I get to watch all the other crap. 7 different leases, 3 oil plants, 2 water plants, 2 H2S scrubbers, 1 SOX plant and way too many CVR sites and steam generators to count. I'm not looking forward to the first really cold night when everything takes a crap at once.

What kind of stuff are you running?
