Down to 2. I'm hoping I have power when I get home. Apparently there's quite a few without it around town.

I'm probably just gonna get whatever at Wal-Mart. Don't need anything special and their warranty seems good enough.

The cheap one was $119. I figure for $30 more, it'd be worth it...…..plus...….I bought that "chip", so don't need to waste that money

There are only like 2 battery mfgr, at least for agm. Johnson control and e penn/deka. or something.

napa is e penn/deka which is supposedly better than johnson. That's the short story I gained from buying my C5 monster group 78 battery the beginning of the year.

It looks like some wally world batteries might be e penn/deka too.

Thanks for coming to my battery Ted talk.

GM put the fucking ecu right below the battery. So if you get a non agm one and it leaks.... Get fucked.

    I don't think I've ever put agm in a car/truck before that.

    Use them in motorcycles though.

Truck has the same battery in it from when I bought it around six-ish years ago. No idea how long it was in there before that.
Never heard of an AGM battery before but seems better/longer lasting performance for a slight price hike.
