Thank you, I believe its past us and we didn't get much aside from rain and slightly heavy wind.

This is polymide-vessel sp1. Pretty expensive stuff. Each of those little pieces in the vice is about $35. They are 1.375x.750x .275. Machines super nice without coolant just super messy to clean up

I’ve never heard of it. We’ve done delrin, nylon, Teflon, hdpe, and phenolic (that I can think of).

I hadn’t heard of it either until we got this job a couple of years ago. Definitely some weird stuff.

Tell us about that stop on that vice. Does that piece that slides move out of the way so you can mill an end or what?

I will grab a picture of one up close tomorrow and get the brand of it. Has lots of adjustments to it.

Here’s the stop I use a lot of the time, made it many moons ago.

    New poll.

    I have 2 trucks, a 2003 Tacoma with 201K miles and a 2003 Duramax with 163K miles.

In the past 2 years I've built the trans on the dmax, new stainless brake lines, new rotors, brake shoes, tires, etc. Did it all myself except for the trans and tires. Now the fuel lines are leaking ($355) for new stainless ones. I just ordered them, cheaper than a new truck payment

The Tacoma, in the past year and a half has a new radiator, new front wheel bearings, alternator, tires, etc. and needs the rack and pinion either rebuilt or replaced because it's leaking.

I'm beginning to think my buddy was right when he told me you can buy a new truck and pay on the front end or buy a used one and pay on the back end :D

I paid on the front end, now I’m waiting until I need to pay on the back end. Paid off my 2015 last year, and paid off the wife’s Camry when I bought the truck in 2015. Feels good to be without vehicle payments, but I know the repairs are going to catch up eventually!
Lucky her Camry has been rock solid, and the Taco seems to be following that theme.
Trying to really keep on top of maintenance items on them to stretch every mile. 190,000 miles on the 2008 Camry hybrid, and 96,000 on the 2015 Taco.

Coworker bought this motorcycle a couple years ago when his Cherokee laid down. He bought a CJ earlier this year from New Mexico off eBay. He’s had nothing but trouble with it, the trans is jacked up now.

Remnants of the hurricane are coming through today and he’s dedicated

This is CAD in reverse. My brake operator didn’t have a good (easy) way of measuring to the theoretical intersection of this part, so I printed him a 1:1 scale of the side profile to get a better idea of how on point we were.
Of course, since I don’t have a large format printer of plotter, I have to get creative with creating my large scale print.

Is that 6061-T6 or another grade of aluminum?
