The areas where the sun doesn't get will probably be. I'm with you though, I prefer wheeling to muddin'.......

Personally I'd like to hear his opinion on silt and clay, or even the scandalous mix known as silty clay.

    Silty clay = not today.

Listen, I don't mind dust and rocks, but I draw the line at most things I have to scrub at and vacuum out. I actually prefer snow to all that stupid stuff.

Go ahead, I have all sorts of interesting opinions.

I like driving through anything, but I personally am glad that I did not have my RTT when I went to TX and camped on the beach for 3 days. My roommate tells me he still sees some sand in his 2 years later. Such a bitch to get out, out of your buttcracks and out of your trucks.

How about a 1-12 ranking of what the best soil is for in your trousers?

That, and I don't have traction boards. So sand is the last thing I want to drive through.

In high school, I got my XJ stuck in a creek bed near a bridge on some backroad. My buddy got his Trashfinder stuck about 25 yards up stream. We got the XJ extracted before midnight, USACE removed the Trashfinder in the morning. My buddy also got charged with something from them and had to pay like $3k in fines, in addition to re-welding the gas tank back to repairs on the rear rails of his frame, front and rear diff fluid and seal changes, brake line flush, every fluid and he replaced anything with a bearing that was submerged. It was a S#!tshow.

Damn, that's wild. I had highway tires when I hit the sand in TX, went 30 miles down Padre Island National Seashore. I hit every deep soft sand pile in 4HI and never had problems. Did not fear that I would even get stuck. I know its quite possible though.

Damn, that blue water container makes me cringe knowing what it did to my hood.

    dayum....

Only ever had my Pathfinder stuck once, and it was an open diff issue.... A traction board would have saved me lol. Had to get yanked by a Ram 2500 (my aunt's boyfriend STILL talks about it.... Nevermind that that RAM has been blown up and replaced since then, and his Jeep has been dragged out of the mud by a Lexus...)

Yeah, my buddy bought that truck to join us on adventures, but now he won't drive it because he thinks it'll break before we even get far enough.

Leaf springs broke on the beach and we had to use zip ties to keep it together. He had bought it from Adventure Motors in MO and has regret. They are awful. Make everything look good on exterior, don't tell you squat about interior/engine/whatnot.

It was amazing, but if I had to choose, I would not stay more than 2 days, lol.

This event ended with a Land Rover Discovery and a Nissan Xterra pulling me out with the aid of a hi-lift and many rocks stacked.

Influencer shop only cares about looks, who saw that coming.

In other news, water is wet.
