Not true, I learned that the landing isn’t any softer on 37s than it was on 35s

After watching all the videos and the lines everyone took on Pritchett... I think I am feeling a little motivation for redemption. Andy and I took every wrong line. We sucked super bad.

It was awesome watching the tacos shoot up most everything, it was very apparent my wheelbase put me at a disadvantage. That said, I would do it again tomorrow. So fun pushing the envelope, I’ve run almost every trail in CO in the past few years besides the buggy stuff and haven’t need to use the winch. It got a workout on Saturday. I would air down a bit more next go around too, certainly for Chewie and Knocker.

For sure, looks like you have some good stuff around, I've never done any of the trails around there.

I would of thought the shorter wheelbase was a good thing. Nice runner!

They were all on 37's as well so that may have played into it vs my 315s, but as long as you have the breakover clearance, longer is usually better in Moab allowing the front to get further up and over to pull through. I got hung up on my lower link mounts and gas tank in a few spots that they didn't have any issues too. And thanks!

The long wheelbase advantage was obvious on Pritchett. The 4runners often got stuck climbing ledges front and rear at the same time, while us Tacomas could get the front up before the rear would hit the ledge

What rear diff do you have in the war rig?
Is that the 8 inch with 3.91 gears?

Good to see the 8 inch handle the big tires.
Wasn't sure if I should have buyers remorse for getting the SR and the 8 inch diff.

Not to mention that it has held up to being spooled for quite some time

    That's great to hear.
My old lincoln locker 8 inch from the 80s held up great too on my last rig.

It looks like I'll be ok with running 34s and an ARB on the 8 inch diff for a while.

On the subject of big air in a truck.
Is there a technique for keeping the front end up? Can you brake and preload the front suspension like you do on a bike?
