My brother was a mechanic and told me about a little trick that I tried once. I had a 69 Lemans with a 350 and a 400 trans. He told me that they were strong enough to do a wild thing.... I had a few buddies in the car, we were all quite high at the time and we went down a road called rollercoaster road at idk, 80-90 mph. Ask I topped the most extreme hill and the car started to get a bit weightless, I took my foot off the gas, waited a second, then shifted into reverse. As soon as I could feel the transmission catch into reverse, I floored it. WOW! We left about 200 feet of dual black marks going down the hill, then another 100' going back up the hill! I think I replaced the tires soon after, but drove the car without issue for another year before getting something different. My cousin totally freaked out!

I think the latest GT40 is absolutely incredible. It's literally a race car made just barely tame enough for the street. I marvel at Ford's willingness to build, sell, provide warranty, etcetera, for such a beast.

The new Corvette is up there too, in terms of corporate courageousness. Fantastic work, Chevrolet!
    Don't care. :p

Okay, I take pride in being pretty familiar with American automotive oddities. I remember the Yenko Stinger, the Fitch Phoenix, and Avanti. Heck, I even remember the Glen Pray Cord 8/10. But this thing is a new one to me. I’d never even heard of the Leata Cabalero....and I’m glad I hadn’t. Hard to believe that’s a Chevette underneath that ugly skin.

I have a couple cars that I've seen, and couldn't identify them. I don't know why, but it bothers me, lol.
Anyone able to tell me what they are (and roughly the year?)
The first one I saw was in Italy a couple years ago. I would assume it's Italian, or atleast European for sure. Screenshot_20201031-141422.jpgAnd the other one, I saw today, and it was traveling the opposite direction. I think it's a Ford Cortina, but not sure if it is, or the year, but looked 70s for sure.
