    I haven’t done a 1st gen one like this in a while. To have lettering I have to keep the mesh flat which means carefully cutting the back of the inner surround flat & straight.
    Here’s a more detailed pic:

    I’ve seen a few other folks just cut off the inner surround of the triangles and glue mesh on from the back. Probably easier that way but I really like the added depth & dimension of keeping it in place. With the matte black finish on the plastic the clear coated mesh really pops! :cool:

    Basically everything in the pictures contained in this thread I can still create with the exception of the raptor grill with the notches in it I only ever made two of those and it’s far too difficult to replicate.

    I did get a PM from someone else who is interested in having this one but they have not confirmed yet.
