I think it's like half a mile or so. Either way it's a lot of fun and makes every trip a little cooler haha

Whats the learning curve like? I am looking into something like this for my fairly mature 12 year old daughter.

I took everything I know about flying a helicopter in GTAV and used it here. :) I hit one bush, one car, nearly chopped my daughter's finger off, and almost killed my dog. After that, I'd consider myself an expert. In all seriousness, an hour or so and you'd be good.

Installed daystar cradles under my airbags, previous owner used hockey pucks to act as the spacer to accommodate the lift kit. Also created a way to put on/take off my topper without others help VIA a hoist and a lot of pulleys.IMG_20201029_121716.jpg IMG_20201029_121659.jpg MVIMG_20201027_222052.jpg MVIMG_20201029_121611.jpg

It looks good with the boot. Without it, it just looks funny. I'll stop posting the picture of a husky with his body shaved except his head.

    None... yet.
Cleaned my MAF and dropped my blower motor, thinking maybe it was needing some maintenance as it was making a light clattering sound unless I turned the fan on High. It turned out to be the last bits of a squirrel nest I thought I'd gotten all of a few weeks back... Over the last few years, dealing with them trying to nest in all my trees and attic, I've really grown to hate those things...

Used a sheet of ABS to make myself a tailgate panel. No more spilling of beer and dealing with an uneven cook top.

Great job, looks awesome. I'm in for doing this ASAP as well. Don't feel like spending $200 on the aftermarket ones I see.

I appreciate it. Very easy project and overall I like it better than most of the other tailgate panels because it’s more convenient. Can use it to prep food, don’t have to worry about powdercoat, very durable etc... Simply remove your old panel and trace it onto the new sheet. I used 1/4” as shown in the link below. The only adjustment I had to make once tracing and test fitting was trimming more off the bottom where it comes in contact with the bottom of the bed.

    I used the following:
