    I don't know about all the down shifting. I had a 1st gen with a 4 cly that acted like this but I expected that. Just wondering if I should take it in to dealer. Only has 1600 miles on it.

    I will not drive mine with the ECT off at all. I had a 2008 as well, many folks here have no idea what they are missing that the 2nd Gen's had acceleration and throttle response wise. I miss my old engine and transmission.

    Not sure what to expect when I put the grip tires on and they are 285's, might never get out of 5th gear. :eek:

    I have an 03 4runner with the 4.0 and even with bigger tires it rips! It'll bark em all day long! They should have never stopped putting the bullet proof 4.0 in the trucks!

    Oh yea, I did snag a topper today it was in Tampa I caught it not long after it was put on market place. Ran 80+ from Jax to Tampa to get it. Now it is at paint shop going from that gun metal gray color to super white. I am happppppy. $600

    Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
    Did some driving around area backroads today to see more damage. Seems this roads is dividing line at least in this area. Probably not the smartest thing driving up here but will be worse next spring when these hundreds of thousands trees are completely dead on the inside.
