NV is most likely where I'd move or at least maybe look for property. I like the border all the way down.

 

I lived in NM for a couple years, loved it. If you're able to work from home, it's something to look at. Good powder, good trails, good shooting community, and cost of living is cheap.

 

Unfortunately very liberal state government and Lujan is a nut.

 

I’d love to spend time exploring NM and eastern AZ

 

No doubt, I left about the same time she got a elected. Before that, their gun laws were pretty decent.

 

Eastern AZ is awesome, lived in Pinetop for a few years also. My route was eastern AZ and western NM.

Yeah, it is certainly the state of the have's and have's not. Then throw in two major interstates that that meet in Abq, one connecting to the southern border, a lot of drugs flow through.

Lol my uncle was visiting his son down in ABQ and left his ride in the driveway for not even a full night and his wheels were stolen lmao. Too many car jackings.

 

Yup. When I lived there it was auto theft capital of the country.

That being said, you could buy a decent house for $150k. If you had a little more scratch, you can live on the other side of the Sandias.
