    Quick links?

I’m torn/ curious to get some feedback from real world use on the quickener so please post up after driving around with it for a bit. My concern is my truck already feels wandery on the road as I pick up speed, less noticeable in the dirt. I may be getting a trailer for it to tow it to and from trips, but at least for the next few years it is still my winter weather vehicle. So I definitely don’t want it being twitchy in the snow. First and for most I’m looking forward to being able to turn 37’s in the rocks a little easier and with way less worries for both rocks and dez. Maybe I’ll add that later on

it's the sum of the parts that makes this so trick. links and slide rack get rid of the slop and play. In stock, the truck takes a second to decide what it wants to do after you start turning the wheel. This setup does away with that nonsense.

I’m just confused as to what you are referring to as quick links. Or are you calling that the quickener?

Those are to create a new intermediate shaft using the quickener which replaces the stock intermediate shaft. They don't really do anything special that the stock ones don't do other than look beefier. They are also probably not worn out and your factory one is.
We don't have a rag joint those are pretty much extinct on newer vehicles.

I stand corrected. But from the pieces shown the quickener will probably not remove that piece just the intermediate shaft.

Thats an easy piece to have made as an aluminum disc to make it a solid mount

Not sure if they’ve just been super busy lately but email/ pm here has been very slow to respond at least for me. Best bet is probably to call the shop.

Gonna try to get my slide rack installed today so I’ll post up some pics later

Yeah this thread seems like it’s dying out. Hopefully not, and it’s just busy at the shop..

I’ve been in the Dominican Republic for a week but got this done right before I left. 18” travel, bolt on hangers, uniball shackle flip, 3.0 bypass. I’ll be back in full force Monday to wrap up the frame notch for the extra 2” of uptravel and will get caught up on all messages/calls

Not 18” travel shocks right, just at the wheel? I only ask because those shocks look too short to be 18s, more like 14s.
