I did Ancestry and it was pretty close to what my ...grand..uncle? (Grandmoms Brother) and spent years collecting and researching. He sent me all the work he had done a few years before he had passed, it seems that anyone who has worked on it gets stuck at the adoption point. He's from my dad's side which has the Mohawk - Iroquios blood line, that male was adopted off the reservation, fought for the North (if memory serves) was injured, got sent home, married and had something around 15 kids? It's crazy, Ancestry got pretty close to that point but stopped I belive just after my Great Grand parents. All this talk is making me want to go dig out my account.

Santa Odin?

 

There's a fairly popular theory that Santa was at least partially influenced by Odin. There's some interesting reading out there about it if you're into history, myths, etc.
