Ok I have this one, and I would say it's a he best value on the market. It's very light duty, but I would get again for my purpose. There are definitely much better quality choices.

I’m sure there are many great tonneau covers for Tacomas. Not to be a Lund “fan boy”, but here’s some more info. The Elite model uses cover material manufactured by the Haartz Co. of Massachusetts. Before I purchased the Lund Genesis Elite, I contacted Haartz about the material. They told me it is the same woven material used worldwide by luxury car builders for their convertible tops. They told me it was a very expensive material and as far as they knew Lund was the only manufacturer using it for tonneau covers.
So, if you’re interested in the Lund, pay a little more for the elite version.

I just installed a Gator from Amazon for around 200.00 beans. Im very happy with the quality of it. Time will tell how it holds up to the elements.

    It’s the tri-fold version.

Are you able to keep it looking good ? They say to use 303 but that just washes off first sign of rain. Thanks for any reply, links or information.

For those of you with the Lund, when the plastic corners fail, and they will, there is a 3D printer file on thingverse for them, since the $7 part is out of stock everywhere and Lund's customer service doesn't bother to reply. You can also go the ghetto route like I did with my neighbor's (GMC 1500 series, same thing, just larger) and drill and screw the insert part back to the main piece then use plastic epoxy to stiffen the whole thing. You'll need to tap the hinge out on one side to get the sides spread far enough apart to reassemble. So far it's holding up. The foam on the bottom of the corners shrinks over time and needs to be replaced as well.

For the price, it does do a decent job of keeping stuff dry according to him.

My Lund has been on my truck since 2018. No problems with it.

Great looking truck. Love the base model, clean and simple, old school…
