    Yup, that's generally what I do. Underground tech for an explosives company.

    He could have at least brought some of his cool gadgets. All we had was a crappy old drill and a wooden stick.

    Nice. They fly y'all in on a rotation, right? Is there a limit on distance?

    I haven't done much on the milling/processing side of things; mainly stick to breaking stuff in the hole

    Yes it rotation schedules and they fly ya from Anchorage to the mine. Point of hire is Anchorage. You are responsible for your travel back & forth from Anchorage to your home. We have a blast everyday at noon in the pit. The blasting crew earns there money.
