Changed out the bedside decals for 3rd gen style. Wanted a ghost look but think it might be to subtle.

Finished the install of my remote start by 12 Volt Solutions.

15 minute timer on the remote start. Not sure if this is adjustable, but 15 minutes is enough for most situations. 2-way remote fob chimes if 15 minutes times out.
Truck DLR lights flash when locking. 2-way remote also gives you the feedback you need that it is locked.

Blue light on 2-way remote tells you that the remote start was successful and that the truck is running.
IMO the single button on the fob is great to work with. No more looking at the remote to press the right button.

All doors lock on 1 click. Driver door opens on 2-clicks, followed quickly by the other doors (I have a DC). I personally like this feature of all doors opening at the same time. I know others do not, for security reasons. (no Trolls please)

2-way remote is slightly thicker than the 1-way remote, but comparable to the OEM. The blue light and audible feedback from the 2-way remote is great!

My install was delayed by 5 days as I could not program the Voxx module. 12 Volts Solutions told me that I needed a Brake adaptor wiring harness – if you have a 2015 Tacoma, request they add this to the initial order (at no charge) to save you time with the install. You could always send it back to them for a few dollars if they want it back. They used to send this additional harness as a standard for certain Tacomas, but stopped doing this for cost reasons.

    Pit Stop mode works great.

Mounted the long range antenna in the upper left corner of the windshield. Others have mounted it in the A-pillar or behind the rearview mirror.

As others have said, the installation instructions are poor. YouTube videos and their own install videos are really are all you need. Their customer phone support was good too.

    Nice!
I have an AutoConnect starter. I can run it off my phone and start it anywhere I have cell or wifi!
I have a manual trans so the process of putting the truck in "ready mode" is a pain! But up here, a car starter is a must...

I know this is super delayed, but it works great if anyone was on the fence about it.

Nice! How do you get it nice and tight in the receiver so it doesn't wobble? I'm planning on building my own, but keeping the spare under the truck. This would be for trips where I want to take 2, 5 gallon jerry cans, have a drop down table for cooking, 10 gallon propane tank, and maybe MaxTrax, but mainly a place to mount my 1up 2-bike rack on a swingout.

The mobile phone app is cool - but being kinda cheap, I decided to avoid the annual subscription fee. The mornings are starting to get cool here so I am glad I finally got it installed. Not sure what is colder in February, Edmonton Ft Mac, or Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Been to all 3 places numerous times and, man, that is cold.

That garage height looks like a tight fit for your Taco. Might have to air down. Enjoy the new place. Looks great!

It's about CAD$6.50 a month for my plan. It's definitely worth it here lol and I'm sure you have an idea!

-Painted the piece around the shifter black
-While I had it our i cut out the cup holder and put in a a bigger one
--it's "stepped" so holds a can, or a larger bottle
    -Extended my shifter
--Used heat shrink to make it black
    -Changed the shift knob
    -Upgraded the other cup holders
--Got it from a forum member
    -Added LED ambient lights
--One in the cup holder, one for each front floor board, and two in the arm rest to shine light through the rear vents to the back
