That was also from March when it was just rolled out, so a few minor growing pains. They’ve all been sorted now.

Makes me wonder if the issues have been sorted out. Totally bullshit in my opinion, probably driving business to UpTop. I was going to order from MobTown, guess not............

I paid in USD from selling on eBay. I think exchange at the time worked out to just under $1500. Duty was like $160. You will get hit with a fee because it's fedex

Got my st a couple days ago and today I took it to the automatic car wash, the ones w roller brushes not the touch less ones, st didn't even moved, held up perfect I think I was more concern when I got to the dryers.
Just an FYI since I saw multiple post asking.

Put my soft topper on this weekend. Finally got my mobtown rack in the mail and dropped off at powdercoat.

Man, not gonna lie, it was long. Much longer thank I initially thought. I was quoted 4-6 weeks, and I knew it would take longer, but it took 16 weeks, and that was after I opted to have it powdered locally because I was quoted 2-4 weeks more on powder.

but I do have to say, they ship quick and the quality is there, solid welds and construction. after looking at a bunch of other racks like this, I chose to wait on the Mobtown rack because it was the best option for looks and function in my opinion.

I’m super pumped to get it back from powder, I’ll post pics when it’s installed.

I took a quick trip to the Cleveland National Forrest for some camping and wheeling. Pretty sketchy at some points but a ton or fun, and a couple notches up on my confidence scale. I had my phone filming from my a pillar ram mount and it was more stable them I was. Mount Cuyamaca was under fire restrictions so no campfires, and it was in the teens at night.

Dang me and my wife and dogs could not get comfy camping in the bed. Maybe a solid bed base like you built would help. We were just on an air mattress on the bed though.

just installed today, really impressed with my first impressions. the canvas is super rugged and the coloring is darker than normally pictured which I'm really happy with. i have a Uptop overland truss rack coming in the mail as well as a condor xl rtt by roofnest. going to be fun to keep upgrading.

Went with a grey softopper for my silver 1st gen. Super happy with the color and my gear didn't heat up too much in the bed under 90degree california sun.
