So i pulled the trigger on a smittybilt x20 10,000lb winch. It'll be here tomorrow. Does anyone know weather it will mount in my bullbar on my 09 without spacers? I apologize if this is a well beaten topic I did a search and couldn't find it. Thanks in advance.

If by "bull bar" you mean the ARB bumper in your pictures, yes. A regular bull bar as pictured, no

Yes I should have stated ARB bullbar. Apparently some winches require a spacer between the bumper and the winch in order for the winch motor to clear the angled part of the bumper. I'm wondering if my 10,000 lb x20 is one of them.

@Montanahunter I literally have done the same thing. I have the ARB bumper and my x20 COMP comes in tomorrow. Did it end up fitting?

@buckyl9 - I recently put the 10k x2O in my ARB Deluxe bumper on my 2014 Taco and there's plenty of room

Yes it fits perfectly. I think some of the confusion maybe the gen 1 is narrower than the gen 2 so perhaps the back sweep of the bumper interferes with the end of the winch.

There's plenty of room in the gen2 area bumper. With the control solenoids I did have to build a mount bracket. I used a piece of plastic cutting board to fashion a base plate to go between the solenoids and arb bracket.

I also picked up an offset fairlead since the bumper is designed for rollers. I'll get you some pictures.
