I've seen spaces for rent. I'm sure its different at each facility, but the last time I saw a storage unit auction each unit was auctioned separately when a customer had more than one unit.

There is always the possibility that this is legitimate.

Because those living in the rust belt don't have any other choice but to deal with it, and fight it. I've seen pics here on TW of trucks that not only would I not drive, but wouldn't be a passenger in either. Some are really scary looking the amount of rust, and people still drive them. Soooo glad I don't have to deal with "Rust belt issues". N.C has near perfect winters. We get some snow, sometimes up to 8 inches during a storm, but a week later it's all gone.

I'd be more worried about how many rubber hoses, and gaskets would need replaced. But paying 22k is too steep for my wallet. That's just about what it cost new when it appeared on the Dealers lot.

well not accounting for inflation. which is important. That would be about 30k in todays dollars. but 10k (or less, probably) of depreciation over 16 years is pretty good. lol

Agreed; 30k in today’s dollars at 22k original sticker price (that’s 37.8% inflation, for anyone counting). And $10k in depreciation is about right. Did anybody see this red first gen on BAT?

Why why would you want a Tacoma that you don’t drive with low miles?

The fun is in the miles you have put on the truck!

If it was a v6 with a supercharger maybe

Based on the few pics, the Odo claim looks entirely reasonable to me.

Engine bay, seat and shifter are consistently free of grime and heavy wear.

You all apparently didn't look at the photos closely, there are multiple motorhomes in the background, this truck was probably being stored there by an RV tenant, hence it probably has many more miles than on the ODO...

You, sir, are absolutely correct... what’s the point?!?! But the dude wanted to keep it, in the end. So it will sit in storage for a few more years at least (dude is an OTR trucker, and isn’t home but for 2-3 days every couple months). Sad day, TW!
